Adding Moodle calendar block

Moodle provides a calendar block, which is very useful in some courses to help students to know when they have to present certain activities. For more information you can visit moodle’s documentation.

Archaius theme allows you to put your calendar inside the main container of your course.

Add the calendar block is quite easy:

First you have to turn editing on

Then you have to go to the option add a block and choose Calendar:

After select the option Calendar block, it is going to appear in your block’s default region, in my case, left region.

Then, you have to go to Calendar block options and select in which region to want to put the calendar.

In this example I am going to choose the section before center main content, because for my hypothetical case the calendar is very important. After choose the section and save changes the calendar block is going to appear here:

Hint: The options under section on this page override the previous one.

    Hi Calvin,

Let me check what could be happening. Did you move it to footer center in the front page?

Could you tell me what is your version of Moodle?

    Regards,
    Daniel.
